“Ukrainian Armoured Vehicles” and AviaNera conclude strategic defence partnership

LLC “Ukrainian Armoured Vehicles” and AviaNera Technologies, part of the CSG industrial and technology group, have signed a strategic partnership agreement. The document was concluded on 15 June 2026 in Paris during the first day of the Eurosatory 2026 international defence and security exhibition.

Under the arrangements, the parties will cooperate in the supply of turbojet and turboprop engines of various power classes for Ukrainian missile and unmanned platforms. The agreement also envisages the creation of joint ventures, the expansion of production capacities and the phased localisation of the relevant technologies in Ukraine.

Vladyslav Belbas, CEO of LLC “Ukrainian Armoured Vehicles”, stressed that the partnership is intended to strengthen Ukraine’s missile and unmanned capabilities and to integrate advanced European technologies into domestic defence developments.

Pavel Chekhal, CEO of AviaNera Technologies, noted that the company is actively ramping up production of power units for unmanned aerial systems and guided missiles, and that localisation of production in Ukraine is part of its strategy to expand into key markets. He recalled that Ukrainian Armoured Vehicles already cooperates with the CSG group on a project for licensed production of Western-calibre ammunition.

The signed agreement is expected to deepen industrial cooperation between the Ukrainian and Czech companies, strengthen Ukraine’s defence-industrial base and contribute to the technological development of the European defence sector.
