Volunteers from the United Kingdom have brought 14 more SUVs for Ukrainian defenders.
The Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytsky noted that this is already the 21st convoy within the initiative of British farmer Mark Laird ‘Pickups for Peace’. This time the vehicles will be handed over to the defenders from the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, units of the National Guard of Ukraine, and other combat units.
Additionally, each SUV was filled by the volunteers with humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, displaced people, and residents of frontline areas.
‘The ‘Pickups for Peace’ initiative has already been joined by more than a thousand volunteers from different parts of the world: Great Britain, USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden. Thanks to their cohesion and determination, Ukrainian warriors have received about 600 vehicles!’
‘A sincere thank you to Mark Laird for being able to unite so many good hearts for Ukraine. We feel your support and will never forget it. Deep gratitude to everyone who joined.’‘
‘A deep bow to our warriors – thanks to you, we have a State,’ said the head of the region.
