Japanese Company Builds Housing for Cancer Patients in Lviv

The Japanese company DAIWA House will build a house in Lviv for cancer patients coming for treatment.

This project will be implemented using modern modular technology from Japan. Today, company representatives visited the future construction site for the first time. “Our company was founded with the slogan of helping people, so this is our mission,” said Keiichi Yoshi, President of DAIWA House Industry. The building will have 15 rooms and a common area for residents.

As Natalya Motrynets, Deputy Medical Director, mentioned, the housing will allow patients to receive therapy faster. This will significantly reduce the waiting line for treatment.

The collaboration between Lviv and DAIWA House began in October 2025. The implementation of the first phase involves the construction of one house with 15 rooms.
