Already this weekend, the open championship of the Lviv region in figure skating “Crystal Lion Cup” will be held at the Ice Arena of the city of Novoyavorivsk.
More than 200 participants from Lviv, Novoyavorivsk, Kyiv, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Lutsk, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Pavlograd, Kalush, Kherson, Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia are expected at the competition. Among those who will enter the rink and compete for prizes are 3-year-old children.
The organizers of the competition are the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Oblast, the Figure Skating Federation of the Lviv Region and the “Bauer” Figure Skating School.
Competitions will be held in accordance with the current rules of the International Skating Union for this season among active athletes, members of the federation, amateurs and beginners and the requirements for programs for each age of athletes approved by the Ukrainian Federation. According to ISU rules, refereeing will be applied using a computerized scoring system and video replay.
