27-year-old Lviv wrestler Oksana Livach will compete for an Olympic medal

Oksana Livach, a 27-year-old Lviv wrestler (up to 50 kg), defeated her opponent from Uzbekistan, Aktenge Keunimzhayeva, with a score of 10:0 in the 1/8 finals.

At the Olympic Games in Paris, Oksana Livach, a wrestler from Lviv, defeated her opponent from Uzbekistan with a brilliant score of 10-0 and reached the quarterfinals. At this stage of the competition, unfortunately, she lost to India’s Vinesh Phegot 5:7.

Pehgot advanced to the final, so Oksana Livach got a chance to compete for third place.

In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian, who is the eighth seed in the tournament, will meet 29-year-old Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat today. This rival created a super sensation in the last seconds of her fight, defeating the current Olympic champion, four-time world champion, and first-seeded Japanese Susaki Yui.

This fight will take place on August 7 at 12:00.
