7-year-old Lviv resident Regina Abramova has set another national achievement in artistic gymnastics by completing 101 straight-leg pullovers on the horizontal bar in a single set. In doing so, the young athlete has secured her sixth Ukrainian record.
Regina recorded her new mark on 23 September. The straight-leg pullover is one of the basic elements of artistic gymnastics, requiring considerable strength, endurance and excellent physical conditioning even from adult athletes.
The gymnast already holds two world and three national records, so this latest result continues her run of success. The summer of 2026 was particularly prolific for her, when she set an absolute world record in artistic gymnastics by performing 430 back pullovers on the horizontal bar.
This time, the record also carries a symbolic meaning for Regina: she performed the exercise on the birthday of her coach, international-level judge Oksana Khandoha, and dedicated the achievement to her as a gift and a thank you for her daily work.
The Lviv Regional Military Administration reported that the gymnast and her coach spend almost the entire day training, which demands great discipline.
