The European Armwrestling Championships are taking place in Bratislava (Slovakia) from 2 to 11 May. More than 1,000 athletes from 25 countries are taking part in the competition. Our boys, juniors and youth were the first to compete.
The results of the performance of athletes from Lviv region among boys, juniors and youth:
Among young men:
🥇🥇Zinchuk Karolina (45kg) – 1st place left hand, 1st place right hand;
🥉Bitsiv Nadiia (50kg) – 3rd place left hand;
🥉🥉Kira Bohdan (50kg) – 3rd place left hand, 3rd place right hand;
🥉Kutsiaba Denys (65kg) – 3rd place right hand.
Among juniors:
🥈🥉Kozlovskyi Ostap (65kg) – 2nd place left hand, 3rd place right hand;
🥉Shukost Pavlo (50kg) – 3rd place left hand.
Among the youth:
🥈🥉 Kolonitskaya Olga (55kg) – 2nd place left hand, 3rd place right hand;
🥉🥈 Savenko Vadim (65kg) – 3rd place left hand, 2nd place right hand.
“Our boys, juniors and youth took third place in the team competition. Well done to them! Next, we are rooting for four of our para-armwrestlers, as well as three representatives of Lviv region who will compete in the adult category,” said Roman Khimyak, Head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
