The basketball players from Sokal will represent the Lviv region at the Ukrainian school leagues among girls of grades 9-11.
The final competitions of the regional stage of school basketball leagues in this age category were held on May 26-27. Eight teams participated, having sequentially won the school, territorial, and district stages of the school league.
Thus, the girls from Sokal Comprehensive School of I-III degrees No. 4 of the Sokal City Council became the absolute winners and will represent Lviv region at the national stage of the games.
2nd place was taken by the young athletes from Rogiznanskoho Gymnasium of I-III degrees of the Yavoriv community; 3rd place — Zhydachiv Gymnasium of I-III degrees No. 1 named after Hero of Ukraine Taras Matviiv of the Zhydachiv City Council.
