This morning, nearly a thousand participants took part in the first charity run organized by the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU).
The head of Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, participated in the event. He noted that the run’s goal is to find 1,000 new benefactors for the university’s scholarship fund. These funds will support students who are actively making changes but cannot afford to pay for their education on their own.
\”We ran for those who seek change. For students who do not wait for a better time, but are already working for the country – volunteering, helping others, launching initiatives. I sincerely thank the Ukrainian Catholic University led by Bishop Borys Gudziak for creating conditions where young people not only gain modern knowledge but also form as a conscious, responsible, and strong community. I’m grateful to everyone who participated: those who ran, those who donated, those who spread information. It’s thanks to you that this initiative has strength,\” he emphasized.
