Busk Sports School took second place overall at the Ukrainian Team Championship in Athletics held in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Thanks to the successful performances of young athletes competing among over 600 participants from 49 sports schools, the team won a cup and confirmed its status as one of the best sports schools in the country.
“Rostikus Yurii (born in 2010) won two Championship awards!” – noted coach Haievskyi M.P. Yurii won the 1500 m event with a personal record of 4:16.54 and secured a second award in the 800 m with a Sports School U16 record of 2:01.76.
Valentyn Petryshyn (born in 2011) became the silver medalist in octathlon, scoring 3906 points, setting 7 personal records and 3 Sports School records. Natalia Rudko (born in 2011) won silver in the 2000 m steeplechase with a Sports School U16 record of 7:40.19.
The young athletes and their coaches are grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to train, compete, and achieve high sporting results.
