The World Cheerleading Championships were held in Orlando, Florida, from April 24 to 26. The only representatives of Ukraine at the competition were a freestyle duo consisting of Anastasia Maloshenko from Lviv region and Yelyzaveta Tymofeeva. There were 25 pairs competing in this category.
The judges scored the final performance of our athletes at 81.21 points, which guaranteed the girls the fourth place. They were less than one point short of bronze medals.

By the way, Anastasia Maloshenko and Yelyzaveta Timofeeva showed the best result among all European duos.

Starting April 28, Anastasia Maloshenko and Elizaveta Timofeeva will also compete at the ICU Cup – the International Cheerleading Union. These competitions will also take place in Orlando. We wish our cheerleaders success,” said Roman Khimyak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
