Cheerleaders from the Lviv region won 58 sets of awards at the Ukrainian cheerleading championship.
The Ukrainian cheerleading championship among pupils and students took place on May 10–11 at the ‘Bosco Arena’ in Lviv. It is one of the main events of the season, which has been hosted by Lviv for many years in a row. More than 2,000 cheerleaders from 56 clubs representing 16 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv participated in the competition.
Representing Lviv were athletes from the clubs Lviv Angels, Nancy Dolls, Acro Moves, BeLLa. Our athletes won 58 sets of medals: 17 gold, 21 silver, and 20 bronze.
‘In early June, the Lviv region will once again become the epicenter of cheerleading among schoolgirls. The final, nationwide stage of the project ‘Side by Side National School Leagues’ will take place here. Our region will be represented by the Ivan Puluj Lyceum LMR and Solonky Lyceum named after Hero of Ukraine Mykola Pankiv’, reminds Roman Khymiak, head of the department of sports, youth, and tourism of the Lviv OVA.
