The Ukraine men’s national volleyball team have reached the finals of the Nations League, the so-called Final Eight, for the first time in their history.
The captain of the national team is Yurii Semeniuk, who comes from Solonka. Over the course of the current tournament, the Ukrainians have claimed a series of landmark victories over some of the world’s leading teams, including Brazil and Italy.
In the Nations League quarter-finals, Ukraine will face Poland’s national team.
