Drivers are urged to choose alternative routes or plan trips at other times.
On April 22 and 23, traffic will be temporarily restricted on some roads in Zhovkiv Region. This is due to the holding of the national highway cycling championship on the Zhovkva Cup Race track program in the region.
On Saturday, traffic will be restricted on the Zibolki-Zhovkva T1425 road from 12:00 to 15:00. On this day, the best will be determined in a team time trial at a distance of 4 kilometers. On Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., traffic will be restricted on the streets of Zhovkva – Vichev Square, Lesya Ukrainka, Lisna, and Stepan Bandera streets. On this day, champions will be determined in the group race at various distances – from 15 to 30 kilometers.
As a reminder, the Zhovkva Cup Race is a two-day cycling race of the national level of a new format. They are organized by the Department of Youth and Sports of Lviv Oblast. During the award ceremony, a charity concert and fair will be held by the Lviv Regional Formation Center in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the medal presentation, young talented performers SOWA and Shumei will perform on stage. The ceremonial part will begin at 17:00 near Zhovkiv Castle.
