Dmytro Holdak, a Year 10 pupil at Horodok Lyceum No. 3 named after I. Blok, has won a gold medal at the international taekwondo tournament Riga Open 2026.
The competition is taking place on 29–30 August in Riga (Latvia) and has brought together athletes from various countries. Dmytro performed successfully in his category, bringing victory to his school and local community.
The community statement notes that this result was made possible thanks to the athlete’s dedicated training and the support of his family.
Special thanks were expressed to Oleksandr Chudesenko for organising the trip, accompanying the team and supporting the young taekwondo athlete.
