The WTT Youth Contender table tennis tournament was held in Metz, France. Diana became the champion in the U11 singles. On her way to the podium, the girl defeated rivals from Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Spain.
This is Diana Didukh’s first victory at a prestigious international tournament under the auspices of World Table Tennis. A week ago, she won silver in the WTT Youth Contender competition.
The athlete trains under the guidance of her father Viktor Didukh.
“Diana has someone to look up to, because her father Viktor Didukh is a Paralympic champion, founder of the Table Tennis Academy in the village of Andriivka, and president of the Lviv Table Tennis Federation. He is also an ambassador of the League of the Unconquered, a project of sports opportunities for soldiers and veterans with disabilities implemented by our department,” says Roman Khimyak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
