Drohobych athletes achieved significant success at the Ukrainian Cycling Championship held in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
The competition took place from May 8th to 11th, gathering 136 participants from 22 teams. The Drohobych community was represented by trainees from the sports school ‘Medyk’. They demonstrated high skill, endurance, and technical training. Trainee Anastasia Saturowa secured first place in the girls’ group race and third place in the time trial.
“It was an exciting contest that required maximum effort from us,” said Anastasia Saturowa. Thanks to these achievements, she earned a spot at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje.
Other cyclists from Drohobych also showed a high level of skill: Artur Stetsiv took fifth place in the time trial and fourth in the boys’ group race. Overall, the team won two medals, confirming their skillfulness.
