The Ukrainian national team in acrobatic gymnastics and aerobic gymnastics delivered a strong performance at the FIG World Cup stage and the international AGF Trophy tournament, held from 3 to 8 June in Baku (Azerbaijan). Based on the results, Ukrainian athletes claimed a number of medals of various colours.
In acrobatic gymnastics, Ukrainians won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals at the World Cup stage, and 1 gold and 3 silver medals at the international tournament. In aerobic gymnastics, the Ukrainian team secured 1 bronze medal at the World Cup stage, and at the international competitions among juniors and youth they collected 3 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals.
In total, the Ukrainian national team’s tally was boosted by four gold, nine silver and four bronze medals.
Representatives of the Drohobych community also delivered impressive results. Silver medallists of the AGF Trophy International Tournament in Acrobatic Gymnastics were:
- in the Juniors category (13–19 years) – Anastasiia Trila and Anastasiia Hnatkiv;
- in the Youth category (12–18 years) – Solomiia Kakhnii and Anhelina Povietkina.
In this way, the athletes from the Drohobych community contributed to the successful performance of the Ukrainian national team on the international stage.
