At the Ukrainian Judo Championship for boys and girls under 16, held in Khmelnytskyi, representatives from the Lviv region won three medals. The competition featured over 570 athletes from 22 regions of Ukraine.
Artem Kositskyi became the Ukrainian champion in the weight category up to 55 kg, having fought 6 bouts and securing 6 victories, finishing the final with a clean win. Serhii Yarovyi claimed silver in the category up to 60 kg, achieving 5 victories in 6 matches. Matvii Dedekaiev received bronze in the category up to 42 kg.
Also close to the podium were: Maksym Dzeryn (5th place, category over 81 kg), Matvii Belei (5th place, category up to 50 kg), and Zakhar Samila (5th place, category up to 42 kg), each securing 4 victories in 6 bouts.
