On June 27, a judo competition for the Lviv Region Cup took place in the sports hall of FSC ‘Locomotive’.
The event was organized by the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration and the Lviv Regional Judo Federation. About 50 athletes participated in the competition, representing youth sports schools, physical and sports societies, and sports clubs from the region. The strongest were determined among men and women.
Winners of the Lviv Region Judo Cup:
Among women (U20): Zavitik Olena (-48 kg), Pastukh Iryna (-52 kg), Shypka Solomiya (-57 kg), Dmytriv Tetyana (-63 kg), Dzydz Yuliya (-70 kg), Shtokalo Mariya (+78 kg).
Among men: Lykholat Vladyslav (-60 kg), Zhoghan Vladyslav (-66 kg), Dyakunchak Marko (-73 kg), Tarasenko Danylo (-81 kg), Koval Ostap (-90 kg), Gvozdetsky Lev (-100 kg), Palamarchuk Illia (+100 kg).
‘The competition was a qualifying event for the Ukrainian Judo Cup, which will be held on July 15 in Bila Tserkva,’ — noted Roman Khimyak, Director of the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
