The handball team “Halychanka” successfully secured their 12th consecutive Ukrainian championship title in the Women’s Super League tournament. This time, the Lviv team delivered impressive results in the 12th round matches held in Uzhhorod from 1st to 3rd April. “Halychanka” now has 61 points, while their closest competitors, Uzhhorod’s “Karpaty”, have only 48.
This is another achievement for “Halychanka”, who have also frequently won national Cups, Super Cups, and Baltic League prizes. Moreover, many players of the team are part of Ukraine’s national handball team. This was noted by Roman Khimiak, the director of the department of sport, youth, and tourism of the Lviv Regional Administration.
