On June 21, a beach volleyball tournament was held in Stryi as part of the regional competition ‘Sports Games of Lviv’.
Eleven territorial communities participated in the ‘veterans’ category. Among the men, the victory was claimed by Brody TG, with Komarnivska TG as the runner-up, and Horodotska TG taking third place. Among the women, Novorozdilska TG secured first place, Strilkivska TG second, and Brody TG third.
The sports games are a project by the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration and the Lviv Regional Center ‘Sport for All’. The competitions last throughout the year, covering various sports types in different parts of the region.
‘We have already realized half of the program types we planned this year. The next tournament within the project will be 3×3 basketball. We will soon determine winners and prize-winners in Sokal’, said Roman Khimiak, Director of the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
