The final matches of the Karate1 Series A Konya international ranking tournament are taking place in Turkey. Viktoriya Vashchyshyn, a 20-year-old resident of Lviv Oblast and a master of sports of Ukraine, successfully performed at the competition. The girl is learning karate at the Union sports club. She is coached by Anton Nikulin.
The athlete competed in the 61 kg weight category among youth. She successfully reached the final by winning five matches – she defeated three representatives of Turkey and representatives of Japan and Switzerland. However, in the final, Victoria lost to another representative of Turkey, thus becoming the silver medalist.
