The karate practitioners from the Lviv region once again proved their superiority at the national competition, securing 28 gold medals at the Ukrainian Cup in Shotokan Karate-Do. The competition took place in Kyiv over the past weekend, with participants from 12 regions of Ukraine taking part.
The Lviv team was represented by five clubs: “GEPARD”, “SKIF-Dobrotvir”, “Uragan”, “Lev”, and “Sokil”. Notably, the “GEPARD” club stood out by winning the highest number of awards among all the represented clubs, obtaining 20 gold medals. The head coach of this club was also recognised as the best coach of the championship.
