Kateryna Stetskovych, a trainee of the Lviv Regional Council’s municipal institution “Lviv Professional College of Sport”, has become the Ukrainian aquathlon champion and, for the first time, met the qualifying standard for Candidate for Master of Sport of Ukraine.
During a training camp, pentathletes from the college took part in the Ukrainian Aquathlon Championships. Kateryna Stetskovych recorded a time of 5:13.8 against the qualifying standard of 5:15.0, which secured her first place. Six teams competed in the championships.
In the older age group, other trainees of the Lviv Professional College of Sport, Dmytro Bondar and Oleksandra Zhghuta, also became champions of Ukraine.
The college thanked the athletes and coaching staff for their achievements and expressed hope for new victories and continued improvement in results.
