In the 24-hour non-stop Crazy Challenge swim starting in Kyiv on January 31, a unique team from the Lviv region, ‘ZhabkaLapky,’ will participate. The team consists of four military personnel and two civilians. Among the swimmers is our compatriot, veteran Yuriy Brel.
The competition format requires that one team member is continuously in the water for 24 hours, with swimmers taking turns according to a pre-determined schedule.
We have written several times about Yuriy Brel’s sports achievements, as he is an experienced athlete, participant, and prize-winner of international, Ukrainian, and regional swimming competitions at 50, 100, and 200 meters, as well as volleyball and rowing on the simulator.
We are proud of our defender, keep our fingers crossed for the team, and wish for a victorious result!
