From 10 to 13 September, Odesa hosted the ISKA Ukrainian Kickboxing Cup among adults and the national junior tournament “The Path of the Victor”. Several clubs from Lviv Region took part in these competitions and delivered excellent results.
In the ISKA Ukrainian Kickboxing Cup, Lviv Region was represented by the clubs “Asket” and “Taifun”. Asket athletes won 24 gold, 16 silver and 4 bronze medals. Taifun representatives added a further 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze awards to the region’s tally.
Thanks to winning the largest number of gold medals, the Asket club became the holder of the Ukrainian Cup and, for the first time in history, brought this prestigious trophy to Lviv Region.
Lviv Region was also strongly represented at the national junior tournament “The Path of the Victor”. Here the region was represented by the clubs “Asket” and “Hrinch”. Asket athletes claimed 6 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal, while the Hrinch team secured 15 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze awards.
The results achieved demonstrate the high level of preparation of Lviv Region’s kickboxers and the successful work of the coaching staff of the region’s clubs.
