The team from Lviv region will continue competing in the silver group of the Polish amputee football championship.
Following the first half of the Polish amputee football championship season, the team from the Lviv region, Pokrova Lviv AMP Football, finished in 5th place. They will continue their participation in the silver group, among teams fighting for the 5–8 positions. The next round of the competition will take place on July 5-6 in Wroclaw, where the team will face clubs ‘Warta’, ‘Zawisza’, and ‘Stal’.
In addition to international competitions, Lviv athletes show consistent results in Ukraine. They won the winter and spring League of the Strong Cups and are preparing for the Ukrainian championship among amputee footballers, which starts this fall. “We are proud and support ours!” – stated the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
