For the third time, 16-year-old fencer Anna Maksymenko from Lviv climbed to the podium of the European Fencing Championships among cadets and juniors.
Thus, the girl won three gold medals at once at these competitions in Naples, Italy.
The Lviv girl received her third award in individual competition. In the final, Anna defeated another Ukrainian, Emily Conrad. For both fencers, these are the first awards in their careers at the European Championships.
Earlier, the Lviv girl also became a champion among cadets in the individual and team competitions.
