‘Dynamo’ from Lviv has claimed the title of Ukrainian water polo champions for the thirteenth time. The final round of the championship took place in Lviv, featuring teams from various parts of the country, including Lviv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Zakarpattia.
The ‘Dynamo’ team secured first place ahead of schedule, once again proving the strength of Lviv’s water polo school. The silver medal was awarded to the team from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. There was fierce competition for the bronze, which was won by Lviv’s ‘Aquatico’, who defeated VK ‘Mariupol’ in the decisive match.
The championship was attended by the President of the European Water Sports Federation, Antonio Silva, highlighting international confidence in Ukraine and Lviv region. The event received support from Ukraine’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation, and the Department of Sport, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration. This once again demonstrates the strength and character of Ukrainian athletes.
