Lviv Athletes Triumph at Ukrainian Muay Thai Boxing Championship
The Ukrainian Muay Thai Boxing Championship for adults and national juniors and youths competitions took place in Kyiv from April 2 to 6. The event gathered around 300 athletes from different parts of Ukraine.
Accomplishments of Lviv Female Boxers
Representatives of Lviv region achieved the following awards among adults:
- 🥇Lazurko Yulia — 1st place in the 51 kg weight category
- 🥈Biloban Maria — 2nd place in the 60 kg weight category
The boxers are coached by Lazurko Viktor at the ‘Union’ club.
“Lazurko Yulia has been selected for the national team and will go to training camps for the World Championship at the end of April,” said the head of the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of Lviv Regional Administration, Roman Khymyak.
