For the first time in history, the Lviv Dynamo-Amazonka water polo club won the championship of Ukraine among teams of the Higher League (the highest level of women’s water polo competition in Ukraine).
The championship of Ukraine among women took place in three rounds: the first two were held in Kamiansk, and the final one was in Lviv. According to the results of three rounds, Lviv women became unattainable for everyone in the tournament table. The team of the Donetsk region became the silver medalist of the championship, and the team of Kyiv – the bronze medalist.
The mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy and the head of the Lviv Sports Department Anton Nikulin took part in the awarding ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the Women’s Water Polo Championship of Ukraine.
