The European Cadet, Junior and Youth Karate Championship took place from February 4th to 9th in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
The Ukrainian team was represented by 36 athletes who secured third place in the overall team competition, winning 4 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals.
Among the medalists was our compatriot — Maxym Stetsiv. The young athlete placed third in one of the junior categories. He trains at the “Union” sports club.
Three other athletes from the Lviv region also competed in Bielsko-Biała: Oleksandr Boris, Sofiya Koshel, and Yulia Krot.
