Sportsperson Maksym Volskyi from Zhovkva won a prize at the Ukrainian Armwrestling Cup.
The young man took 2nd place in the ‘Junior 18’ category, weight category 70 kg, left hand. The competition took place in the town of Volovets, Zakarpattia region, from December 10 to 15. Maksym competed as part of the sports club ‘Lviv Lions’, and his result is not only a personal achievement but part of a significant success for the Lviv region.
“The young man particularly thanks his coach Ivanitskyi Ihor!” Overall, Maksym has achieved significant results this year: champion of the Lviv region (1st place with the right hand and 1st place with the left hand), Lion’s Cup (2nd place with the left hand), among students of Lviv universities (1st place with the right hand), Ukrainian Cup (2nd place with the left hand).
