In Lviv, at the “Yunist” stadium, the Ukrainian Rugby League-9 Cup was held today. This is a type of rugby league with nine players on each side.
Six teams representing Lviv Oblast, Zakarpattia, Donetsk Oblast, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast and Rivne Oblast competed for the awards.
The Lviv Tigers won the tournament, the Donetsk national team came second, and the Khmelnytskyi Eagles came third.
It should be noted that this is the first national rugby league competition this year.
