The “Valiant Games-2026” took place in the Lviv region at the end of April, attracting over 200 participants. The diverse competitions included military personnel, veterans, and cadets from military educational institutions.
This year’s games were hosted by the newly refurbished Olympic Training Centre in the village of Navaria. As part of the development of physical culture in the Lviv region, a multifunctional court with a polyurethane surface was created here, along with areas for various sports and inclusive facilities.
The event was organised by the Lviv Regional Organisation of the VFSO “Kolos” with the support of the Lviv Regional State Administration’s sports department. The programme included mini-football, kettlebell lifting, table tennis, chess, draughts, tug of war, and others.
The team from the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny clinched the overall victory. The second and third places were shared by the teams of the Second Galician Brigade of the National Guard and the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
