In the Lviv region, at the ‘Medova Pechera’ hotel and restaurant complex, the Ukrainian Chess Championship for boys and girls under 20 years of age took place from February 2 to February 10. Participants included representatives from 14 regions of the country.
According to Roman Khimyak, who manages youth and sports programs in the Lviv regional administration, athletes from the region won a total of seven medals, including two golds, one silver, and four bronzes.
