The Ukrainian U12 Chess Championship and the All-Ukrainian Chess Tournament have finished in Lviv region

The competition took place on 6-12 June at the Lviv Palace of Arts. The participants competed in classical, lightning and rapid chess.

This was reported in Department of Youth and Sports of Lviv Regional State Administration

Classical chess brought together 90 boys and 30 girls from 17 regions of Ukraine. The best results were shown by athletes from Lviv region:

2nd place – Yana Marusyn – CYSS “Debut”, coach Volodymyr Grabinsky

Boys

Lightning chess brought together 123 boys and 39 girls. The best results were shown by athletes from Lviv region:

2nd place – Sofia Rogosa – Lviv Chess Academy, coach Nazar Firman.
3rd place – Olesya Zvorska – Horodrka Children’s Sports School, coach Volodymyr Meleshko.

Boys
1st place – Nakonechnyi Oleksii – Truskavets, coaches Andrii Zazuliak, Ihor Nakonechnyi.
2nd place – Pavlyk Maksym – Lviv Chess Academy, coach Nazar Firman.
3rd place – Kipen Sviatoslav – Youth Sports School “Debut”, coach Volodymyr Grabinskyi.

Rapid chess brought together 145 boys and 47 girls. The best results were shown by athletes from Lviv region:

1st place – Alina Balukh – Lviv Chess Academy, coach Nazar Firman, 2nd place – Anastasia Teliuk – Gorodok Children’s Sports School, coach Volodymyr Meleshko.

Additionally, 20 chess players from six regions of Ukraine competed in the All-Ukrainian Chess Tournament (III rank).
