The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in the Lviv region presented gifts to young athletes.
As part of a memorandum of cooperation with the community and on the occasion of International Olympic Day, celebrated on June 23, the NOC of Ukraine in the Lviv region handed over badminton sets, chess, table tennis, darts, balls, and Olympic diaries to children. These gifts will be received by children’s and youth sports schools and extracurricular institutions.
The head of the NOC of Ukraine branch in the Lviv region, Yuriy Turyansky, noted that such initiatives are more than just gifts. They promote sports and Olympic values among children and youth. “Olympic values are what make us stronger, healthier, and unite us around good deeds. And good deeds are accomplished when there is mutual desire. We always find this desire in Sheptytsky, because when there is a common goal, it is easier to move forward,” emphasized Yuriy Turyansky.
