Rowing World Cup: another medal from a representative of Lviv region
Aleksandr Zaitsev took third place in the 500m mixed kayak event. Natalia Dokienko from Fastiv competed alongside Alexander.
We would like to remind you that the Canoe World Cup took place in Poznan. Athletes from Lviv region won the following awards the day before:
- Valeriia TERETA, a rower from Lviv Region, won three medals in the single canoe at the competition:
🥇 The athlete won a confident victory in the 1000 metres.
🥉 She won a bronze medal in the last metres of the 500 metres.
🥇 She won the long distance – 5000 metres.
🥇 Oleksandr Zaitsev won the 200 metres single kayak. - Vitalii Vergeles from Lviv region and Andrii Rybachok from Volyn finished second in the 1000m double sculls.
