On 7-9 February, the Ukrainian Alpine Skiing Championships among boys and girls took place in the village of Polyanytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk region (TC “Bukovel”). The competition was attended by 118 young skiers from 5 regions of Ukraine.
Athletes from Lviv region won 2 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals. Overall, Lviv region took 2nd place in the team competition.

Olesia Sharun – 1st place in slalom, 3rd place in giant slalom (Lviv Ski School, coaches Olena Shai and Kostiantyn Shai).
Among girls born in 2010-2012
Maria Gashpar – 3rd place in slalom (Slavske Children and Youth Sports School, coach Ksenia Patsagan).
Among boys born in 2008-2009
Sverdun Dmytro – 3rd place in the giant slalom, 3rd place in the slalom (Slavske Children and Youth Sports School, coach Borys Ihor).
Vladyslav Teliha – 2nd place in the slalom discipline (Skole Children and Youth Sports School, coach Yuriy Zubrytskyi).

Ihor Vitkovskyi – 1st place in slalom, 3rd place in giant slalom (Lviv Ski School, coached by Olena Shai and Kostiantyn Shai).
