Lviv Paralympic Athletes Won Silver at the World Curling Championship
These days, the World Curling Championship for athletes with hearing impairment is taking place in the USA. The competition includes 84 participants from 11 countries worldwide. Representing Lviv region are: Roman Yefanov, Oleksandr Hatz, Tetiana Hlyvka, Mykhailo Pleskanka, Kateryna Yakymets, and Maryna Opria.
Achievements of Lviv Athletes
Our compatriots Mykhailo Pleskanka and Kateryna Yakymets won the silver medal in the double mix (pair game).
As of today, the women’s team competitions are starting, where our Paralympic athletes will also participate. Congratulations on the medals won, and we wish the girls success in the upcoming competitions!
