
At the Europe’s Strongest Man 2026 tournament, held on 11 April in Leeds, Pavlo Kordiaka from the Lviv region secured a silver medal. He competed among 12 of Europe’s finest athletes, showcasing their talents in five challenging disciplines, such as Log Lift and Webster Stones.
Pavlo was surpassed only by an athlete from the Czech Republic. His outstanding achievements include titles such as Log Lift World Champion 2019 and Europe’s Strongest Man 2023. Moreover, in 2025 he set a Guinness World Record in Milan during the “Night of Records” show, lifting five logs of various weights in the shortest time.
Kordiaka also leads the sports division at the Lviv State University of Life Safety, as confirmed by Roman Khimiak, the director of the sports, youth, and tourism department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
