Roksolana Busko, an athlete from the village of Sheptytske, delivered an outstanding performance at the WPA World Championship 2025. Competing in the under-60 kg weight class (her body weight: 59.9 kg), she set a new world record in the squat with a lift of 195 kg (430 lbs).
She also achieved a personal best in the bench press — 105 kg (231 lbs). As a result of her strong showing, Roksolana secured 1st place in her weight category and took 2nd place overall among all women competitors, marking an exceptional achievement on the international stage.
Roksolana is coached by Volodymyr Myhas, who prepared her for top-level performance.
