On May 17, 2026, Kyiv hosted intense and spectacular bouts at the SKIF Shotokan Karate-Do Ukrainian Cup 2026. The tournament brought together strong athletes, and for Daria, this competition became another confirmation of her excellent preparation, endurance, and determination to win.
Daria performed confidently on the tatami, showing technical skill, character, and true competitive spirit. As a result of the tournament, she confirmed her status as Ukrainian champion for the fifth consecutive time.
The athlete added 4 awards to her medal collection:
- Gold — kumite, women born in 2007–2008, Ippon discipline;
- Gold — team kumite, women aged 16–17;
- Silver — kumite, women born in 2007–2008, +55 kg weight category, Han-Shobu discipline;
- Silver — team kumite, women aged 18–39, where Daria made a successful debut in the adult category and competed strongly against experienced opponents.
This result became a clear proof of Daria’s consistency, dedication, and athletic progress. Her performance in Kyiv brought not only new medals but also another reason for pride.
