Four protégés of coach Vasyl Diakiv from the team karate.diakiv.team participated in the open Zhytomyr Region Kyokushin Karate Championship “Zvyagel Bells”. This year, the tournament gathered a record number of participants — over 600 athletes from 23 teams across seven regions of Ukraine and Kyiv.
Our compatriots delivered excellent results: Serhiy Yakymiv became the champion in the super heavyweight category, Nadiya Korol won silver, Taras Hanets took bronze, and Oksana Korol secured fourth place. For each participant, these competitions were not only a challenge but also an opportunity to better understand themselves.
The experience gained will serve as a solid foundation for future achievements. A deep bow to our Defenders! Thanks to your courage, children have the opportunity to train and compete. Sincere gratitude to the parents who support the young athletes and believe in their victories!
