On April 23, the WKC Karate Championship of Ukraine took place in Kyiv. More than 200 athletes from 12 regions of Ukraine took part in the competition.
Lviv region, and our city in particular, as part of the national team of the Lviv representative of the Ukrainian karate confederation WKC, were represented by students of the “Absolut” club of the Chervonograd House of Children’s and Youth Creativity (coach – Volodymyr Pihotskyi)
Oleksandr Ogorodnyk, Pavlo Grynchuk, Oleksandr Krasko, Ivan Trots, Veronika Dzyuba and Solomiya Krasko became the winners and prize-winners of the competition. In total, students of the “Absolut” club won 13 medals for our national team of the Lviv region – 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.
