In Lviv, the first school league D competitions took place – sports competitions among directors of educational institutions. They determined the best of 9 teams in the volleyball game.
According to the results of the group stages, the Shevchenkivsky Lions school team, the Lychakivskyi school team Svitli and the Sykhivsky Eagles school team made it to the finals. The latter won in a fierce struggle and became the first champion of the school league D in volleyball.
“On Saturday, the first competition within the D league took place. 9 teams played volleyball at the “Mandarinka” sports complex in Sikhiv: 6 teams from each district of the city, a kindergarten team from the Frankiv district, a team from private schools and, of course, the education management team.
After the group stages, the big final took place, where the teams of schools – “Shevchenko Levy”, “Svitli” and “Sykhiv Eagles” competed. The latter defeated the “Svitli” team from the Lychakiv district in a fierce battle. The best player of the match was Fr. Taras Bayovskyi from the Sheptytsky gymnasium.
And in the “Team spirit” nomination, “Unbreakable hearts” won – a team of kindergarten directors from the Frankiv district,” the education department reported.
We will remind, within the framework of the new school league D – competitions among directors of schools and kindergartens in Lviv in various team and individual sports. Volleyball, floorball and sports orienteering are among the team events, and table tennis, chess and sports board games (cornhole, rubber band, jakolo) are among the individual events. The first team volleyball competition took place on Saturday, December 16, in the “Mandarinka” sports complex.
