Strongman Pavlo Kordiaka from the Lviv region has claimed victory at the prestigious international tournament “Global Summit of Strength”, which took place in the United Kingdom.
The competition programme included five strength events. Based on the results, the Ukrainian scored 37.5 points and confidently outperformed his closest rival, Zak Hill from England.
According to Roman Khimyak, Director of the Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Pavlo Kordiaka is the leader of Ukraine’s national strongman team and represents the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
The athlete has repeatedly delivered strong results on the international stage: in 2023 he won the title of Europe’s Strongest Man, and in 2026 he reached the final of the World’s Strongest Man tournament, where he finished fourth.
Victory at the “Global Summit of Strength” is another success for Pavlo Kordiaka and yet another significant achievement for Ukrainian strongman sport on the world stage.
