First-year student of the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv College of Sport” Yuliia Isachenko delivered an impressive performance at the U18 European Shooting Championship with small-bore weapons, held from 21 to 26 August in Tallinn (Estonia).
As part of Ukraine’s youth national team, the athlete won two medals. In the MP-5 event, the Ukrainian team, which included Yuliia Isachenko, claimed the gold medal in the team standings, scoring 1692 points and setting a new European record.
Yuliia earned another medal in the MP mixed event, where, together with her partner, she finished second and became a silver medallist. In other disciplines, the athlete also produced strong results: she finished fourth in the MP-5 event and seventh in the MP solo event.
The college notes that such a performance is a significant success both for the athlete herself and for the Ukrainian national team, and expresses its gratitude to the coaches for preparing the young champion.
